Vista Avenue to be restricted near I-84 tonight, Thursday night (Sept. 1-2)
The Idaho Transportation Department advises that restrictions will
begin at 9 p.m. and end at 5 a.m.
Crews will be painting arrows and final stripes at the recently rebuilt
I-84, Vista Interchange.
The interchange
reconstruction project was funded through a federal stimulus program known as
Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery. The program was created
to generate jobs and help boost Idaho's economy while upgrading the state's foundation
for future economic growth.
ITD
and the Idaho State Police caution motorists to slow down and pay attention when
driving in work zones, where increased speeding fines and other penalties
apply. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and dial 5-1-1 or visit
511.idaho.gov for information on the state highway or interstate system.
