Construction on northbound I-15 between Osgood and Roberts starts Monday (Sept. 13)
RIGBY - Resurfacing on an eight-mile stretch of northbound I-15 between Osgood and Roberts starts Monday (Sept. 13), the Idaho Transportation Department announced. Work is expected to be completed by Oct. 8.
Travel will be reduced to one lane and the speed limit will be reduced to 55 miles per hour. The resurfacing, from milepost 127-135, is designed to improve the riding surface for motorists and extend the life of the roadway. This same stretch of highway will be seal coated next summer.
Commercial vehicles will be restricted to 15 feet in width.
Motorists should watch for construction workers, equipment, merging traffic and obey all traffic signs.
During the construction project, Exit 128 in Osgood and Exit 135 in Roberts will remain open.
