Expect overnight I-84 restrictions between Orchard and Broadway tonight through Tuesday
BOISE - Motorists can expect intermittent overnight lane restrictions on I-84 between the Orchard and Broadway interchanges from tonight (Friday) to Tuesday (Sept. 10-14), the Idaho Transportation Department announced.

The westbound exit-only lane from Broadway to Orchard will be restricted to one lane every night through Tuesday (Sept. 14).

The left lane of eastbound I-84 will be closed east of Broadway tonight (Friday, Sept. 10).

Restrictions will occur between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. on the weekends, and between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. on weeknights.

The restrictions are part of a project to widen I-84 to eight lanes between the Cole and Broadway interchanges. Construction is expected to be completed in summer 2011.
