Exit 320 on northbound U.S. 20 in Rigby to remain closed through Friday, Oct. 15
RIGBY ‑ Exit 320 on northbound U.S. 20 in Rigby will remain closed through Friday, Oct. 15, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
Crews are resurfacing the overpass north of Exit 320 on U.S. 20 in Rigby. The project was scheduled for completion Oct. 1, but crews encountered problems removing the old deck concrete and completing other bridge projects.
Resurfacing improves the riding surface for motorists and prolongs the life of the overpass lanes.
Both northbound and southbound motorists must access Rigby using Exit 322 in north Rigby.
The overpass on U.S. 20 is the last of six bridges in Jefferson County to be resurfaced this construction season.
Bridges that have been resurfaced include:
‑ Idaho 48 Overpass on U.S. 20 in Rigby.
‑ Burgess Canal Bridge on U.S. 20. This bridge is approximately one quarter of a mile north of the south Rigby interchange, Exit 320, of U.S. 20 in Rigby.
‑ Burgess Canal Bridge on the U.S. 20 business loop. The bridge is approximately one fifth of a mile northwest of the south Rigby interchange, Exit 320, of U.S. 20 on the business loop in Rigby.
‑ Butte Market Lake Canal Bridge south of the Roberts exit (Exit 135) on the northbound lanes of I‑15.
‑ Butte Market Lake Canal Bridge on Idaho 48 in Roberts.
