ITD to repair I-84 between Cloverdale and Meridian as weather allows
BOISE - Idaho Transportation Department maintenance crews will repair broken and deteriorated slabs on Interstate 84 between Cloverdale and Meridian roads as weather allows, tentatively starting Wednesday (Oct. 6) and continuing for the next several weeks.
The work involves sealing pavement edges and bringing sunken areas back up to the level of the surrounding roadway. Weather permitting, crews will work Tuesdays through Thursdays each of the next three weeks, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The two right-hand lanes will be closed in the repair area. Crews will begin in the westbound lanes, then return in the eastbound lanes when finished on that side.
Lanes targeted for repair were built more than 45 years ago.
