Cold Springs Creek work near Hammett to begin Oct. 19
BOISE - A project to remove overhanging vegetation and weeds from the creek bed under the Cold Creek Bridge running parallel to the Hammett Business Loop is expected to begin Tuesday (Oct. 19).
The concreted creek bed at milepost 114 (about 20 miles east of Mountain Home) is deteriorating, but the extent of the damage is unknown until the weeds are cleared and the creek bed is inspected.
The weed removal is expected to take a week or two. During the work, only one lane at a time, controlled by flaggers, will be available to motorists through the work zone.
