Avalanche-prone stretch of Idaho 21 reopens
BOISE - The 12-mile stretch of Idaho 21 between the Grandjean Junction and Banner Summit reopened just after noon today (Friday, Dec. 2). The road had been closed since noon Thursday as an avalanche precaution for travelers' safety, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
Motorists are advised to use caution, as sections of the roadway are still difficult to navigate.
