Nampa's Robinson Road Overpass to get safety rail starting next week
NAMPA - A
project to add a pedestrian safety rail across the Robinson Road Overpass
is expected to begin the week of Dec. 13-19. The work is being done at the request of
the city of Nampa.
The rail, a rigid metal mesh, will be installed across the structure on both sides on top of the concrete parapet.
The project is expected to last about two weeks. One lane of traffic will be maintained across the overpass, with occasional overnight I-84 closures (10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on weekdays and 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. on weekends) and Robinson Road nighttime closures from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
