Overnight I-84 restrictions between Orchard and Broadway will continue tonight (Wednesday, Jan. 12)
Westbound I-84 will be restricted to one lane from 10 p.m.
to 5 a.m. so the contractor can continue to repair sections of the guardrail.
Work is weather dependent.
The restrictions are part of a project to widen I-84 to
eight lanes between the Cole and Broadway interchanges. Construction is
expected to be completed in summer 2011.
NOTE: The Idaho Transportation Department is in charge of all roads within the state highway system - interstates, state highways and U.S. routes. All other roads are the responsibility of the local city or county entity.
