Westbound I-84 lanes will be restricted tonight between Broadway and Vista
BOISE - Westbound motorists can expect overnight lane restrictions on I-84 between the Broadway and Vista interchanges tonight (Thursday, Jan. 27), the Idaho Transportation Department announced.

 

Westbound I-84 will be restricted to one lane from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. The contractor will be repairing sections of the roadway.

 

All work is weather dependent.

 

The restrictions are part of a project to widen I-84 to eight lanes between the Cole and Broadway interchanges. Construction is expected to be completed in summer 2011.

 

The Idaho Transportation Department is in charge of all roads within the state highway system - interstates, state highways and U.S. routes. All other roads are the responsibility of the local city or county entity.
