Westbound I-84 off-ramp to Boise Airport will be closed Tuesday night (Feb. 1)
Westbound motorists who want to access the Boise Airport via Vista
Avenue must exit early at Broadway Avenue. Traffic will be directed south
on Broadway Avenue, west on Commerce Avenue, north on Development Avenue and
west on Airport Way to Vista Avenue, where they can access the airport or
downtown Boise.

Tuesday is the first
of three nighttime detours on westbound I-84 this week. One lane of
westbound I-84 will be open at all times, but various westbound ramps will be
closed for motorists getting on or off I-84 between Broadway and Cole/Overland.
All lanes of eastbound I-84 will be open.
The schedule is
weather-dependent. Travelers are encouraged to check 511.Idaho.gov or dial
5-1-1 for updated information.
The detours are part of a $35.9 million project to widen I-84 to four
lanes in both directions between Broadway and Cole/Overland. The project is
scheduled for completion in summer 2011.
