I-84 on-ramp at Orchard Street will be closed Thursday night (Feb. 3)
The closure is the last in a series of ramp closures this
week.
Motorists on Orchard Street who wish to enter westbound I-84
will be directed south on Orchard Street, west on Victory Road and north on
Cole Road to the Cole/Overland Interchange. The eastbound off-ramp at Orchard
Street will be open but restricted to one lane.
Motorists who entered westbound I-84 at Broadway or Vista
must exit at Orchard and follow the detour route to Cole/Overland Interchange.
One lane of westbound I-84 will be open between the Orchard Interchange and the
Wye Interchange.

All lanes will be open on eastbound I-84.
Drivers are encouraged to check 5-1-1 and leave early to reach their
destinations on time. The work will be rescheduled in the case of inclement
weather.
ITD is widening I-84 to four lanes in both directions
between Cole/Overland and Broadway. The project is scheduled for completion in
summer 2011.
