Westbound I-84 lanes restricted Friday and Monday nights between Broadway and Wye interchanges
BOISE - Westbound I-84 will be restricted to one lane tonight (Friday, Feb. 4) and Monday night (Feb. 7) between the Broadway and Wye interchanges, the Idaho Transportation Department announced. Crews will be working on overhead sign structures placed earlier this week.
Restrictions will begin at 10 p.m. and end
at 5 a.m. tonight between the Orchard and Wye interchanges.
On Monday night, restrictions will begin at 10 p.m.
and end at 5 a.m. between the Broadway and Vista interchanges.
The restrictions are part of a project to widen I-84 to
eight lanes between the Cole and Broadway interchanges. Construction is
expected to be completed in summer 2011.
The Idaho Transportation Department is in charge of all
roads within the state highway system - interstates, state highways and U.S.
routes. All other roads are the responsibility of the local city or county
entity.
