ConocoPhillips shipment on U.S. 12 safely reaches Idaho/Montana border
LEWISTON - An oversized ConocoPhillips load traveling on U.S. 12 safely reached the Idaho/Montana border on Friday night at 11:45 (PST), the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
The shipment then traveled approximately eight miles into Montana. It left milepost 169 in Idaho at approximately 10 p.m. (PST).
Traffic along the route was minimal. The transport encountered five westbound vehicles, and two eastbound vehicles while traveling in Idaho.
The schedule for the second, third and fourth shipments has not established.
ConocoPhillips established a toll-free information line, updated daily at noon, for reports on the shipment. The number is (866) 535-0138.
