I-84, Broadway Interchange ramps to be repaved this spring
BOISE - The Idaho Transportation Department announced that the on- and off-ramps at the Broadway Interchange with I-84 will undergo pavement rehabilitation in a month-long project this spring.
The project is expected to begin by the end of March or early April, depending on weather and coordination with the I-84 Cole to Broadway freeway widening project.
The top layer of cracked and deteriorated pavement will be milled off, followed by a layer of new pavement for a smoother driving surface. This also will extend the life of the pavement in that location.
To accommodate traffic flow, most of the construction work will be done at night.
Knife River Corp., of Boise, is the contractor on this $332,000 project.
