Nightly lane restrictions will begin tonight on I-84 between Cole/Overland and Broadway interchanges
BOISE - Motorists can expect a month of intermittent overnight lane restrictions on Interstate 84 between the Cole/Overland and Broadway interchanges starting tonight (Thursday, March 10).
One lane will be closed in each direction from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Motorists are advised to drive with caution. Construction trucks are entering and exiting the work zone at the Orchard and Broadway interchanges.
The restrictions are part of a project to widen I-84 to
eight lanes between the Cole and Broadway interchanges. The contractor is
preparing to shift traffic in late March or early April. Construction is expected
to be completed this summer.
