Section of Idaho 21 remains closed for avalanche danger
BOISE - The 12-mile stretch of Idaho 21 between the
Grandjean Junction and Banner Summit that closed Saturday afternoon due to avalanche danger remains closed

Idaho Transportation Department announced.

The avalanche hazard is deemed "considerable." Rainfall in the area on top of the existing snowpack is causing increased instability. Avalanche conditions and weather forecasts will be monitored, with conditions assessed later today for possible reopening.
