Avalanche-prone section of Idaho 21 reopened
BOISE - The 12-mile stretch of Idaho 21 between the
Grandjean Junction and Banner Summit has reopened after being closed since Saturday afternoon due to avalanche danger, the
Idaho Transportation Department announced.
The route was reopened at about !:40 p.m. today (Monday, April 18).
The section of road closed around 2:45 p.m. Saturday as rainfall and warming temperatures added to the snowpack's instability.
