Westbound I-84 restrictions near Franklin Road exit in Caldwell tomorrow
BOISE - A westbound lane of Interstate 84 in the short section leading to the Franklin Road exit in Caldwell (Exit 28) will have restrictions tomorrow (Tuesday, April 19) and possibly Wednesday for survey work in preparation for a slip ramp construction project starting in mid-May.
The Idaho Transportation Department advises that starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, the inside lane will be closed and traffic will shift to the outside lane in that area. After completion of the inside lane survey, crews will close the outside lane in the same area and move traffic to the inside. Traffic will return to two lanes after crews move beyond the interchange bridge.
The speed limit will drop from 65 mph to 45 mph in that 0.2-mile section.
