One I-84 eastbound lane to be closed tonight between Garrity and Robinson
BOISE - Motorist driving eastbound on Interstate 84 between the Garrity Interchange and the Robinson Road Overpass can expect traffic to be reduced to one lane tonight (Tuesday, April 26) to shift the guardrail to allow for paving.

Weather permitting, one I-84 eastbound lane will be restricted from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday (April 27).

Crews will move the guardrail so they can pave new I-84 travel lanes on the I-84 bridge over Garrity Boulevard. The project is expected to be completed this summer, with three lanes open in each direction over the bridge, eventually connecting with a fourth lane in each direction east of the interchange.

The speed limit has been lowered to 35 mph on Garrity Boulevard and 55 mph on I-84 through the construction zones.
