ExxonMobil test shipment will wait until next week to resume travel
BOISE - An Imperial Oil/ExxonMobil oversized test shipment will not resume travel on U.S. 12 until at least Monday night because of potential inclement weather, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
The National Weather Service predicts snow and below-freezing temperatures for higher elevations near the Idaho-Montana border.
The test shipment will remain parked at milepost 169.1, about five miles west of the state line, until travel conditions improve.
Weather permitting, the load will travel on Monday night/Tuesday morning into Montana.
