RESENDING: Maintenance work on Kimberly Road Tuesday, Wednesday
News Directors, Editors: Resending to correct headline to Kimberly Road, instead of Addison Avenue
TWIN FALLS - Drivers will need to use caution as one lane of Kimberly Road between Blue Lakes and the city of Kimberly will be closed throughout the day on Tuesday and Wednesday (May 10 and 11), the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
State forces will be placing crack sealant on U.S. 30 from the East Five-Points intersection to the Idaho 50 junction on the north end of Kimberly. The crack seal operation is being performed to prevent damage to the roadway caused by excess moisture penetrating the asphalt.
Weather permitting, drivers can expect lane closures throughout this area from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day. This is a mobile operation and crews will be using a portion of the road and only one lane is expected to be closed at a time.
Drivers are asked to use caution, watch for crew members and equipment, and be patient when traveling through the area.
