Traffic on Front Street to be shifted through October
BOISE - Traffic on Front Street between Capitol Boulevard and 9th Street will be restricted starting tonight (Tuesday, May 17) as crews prepare for a traffic shift that will last through October in that area.
Starting at 10 p.m. tonight and continuing through 5 a.m. Wednesday morning, crews will sandblast the old lane striping in that area and apply new lines and striping to reflect a 10-foot lane width instead of the usual 12-foot width. Traffic will then be shifted several feet to the north to accommodate the contractor's plan to repair the stairs to the parking garage in that location.
Guho Corp., of Boise, is the contractor on this Capital City Development Corp. project.
