Several lanes will be closed Saturday and Sunday at convergence of I-184 and I-84 at Flying Wye
BOISE - Two westbound lanes and one eastbound lane will be closed at the Flying Wye convergence of interstates 84 and 184 (the Connector) on Saturday and Sunday (May 21 and 22) as Idaho Power and Probst Electric pull a power line across the Interstate to allow Idaho Power to replace an existing distribution line and install a new transmission line.

The lanes will be closed from 3 a.m. Saturday until 9 p.m. Sunday. The two lanes westbound are the far left lane on I-184 and the far right lane on I-84 at that convergence. The lane closure eastbound is the far left lane, where I-184 splits away from I-84.

Two cranes will be sitting in the closure areas - one eastbound and one westbound. On the westbound side, the crane will be sitting in the closed I-84 lane. The closed I-184 lane will be unoccupied, but closed for safety. The crane of the eastbound side will be located in the far left lane of I-184. The cranes will be sitting just east of the Maple Grove structure. The cranes will be unoccupied, except during setup and take down.
