UPDATED: Motorists can expect delays around Nampa's Garrity Interchange through Sunday
BOISE - The Idaho Transportation Department advises motorists traveling through the I-84 Garrity Interchange to expect delays through the weekend. Delays are expected from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
Tonight (Friday, June 3) - Traffic on Garrity will be reduced to one lane in each direction, and flaggers will guide traffic through signals. Motorist should expect delays while workers pave Garrity.
Saturday and Sunday (June 4 and 5) - Traffic will be shifted on all four interchange ramps as needed to pave the ramps. Flaggers will be used to guide motorists.
The project is expected to be completed this summer, with three lanes
open in each direction on I-84 over the bridge, eventually connecting with a
fourth lane in each direction east of the interchange.
