Maintenance work on Meridian Interchange bridge deck starts Tuesday
MERIDIAN - Work on the bridge deck of the Meridian Interchange will require alternating lane closures during the day on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (June 28-30), the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, crews will repair numerous potholes created by weather and aging pavement. Work is scheduled to not interfere with the morning and evening rush-hour traffic at this very busy interchange.
The speed limit will be reduced and at least one lane will be maintained in each direction of travel during the work.
State maintenance crews from ITD's Southwest Idaho Boise Maintenance Office and the Bridge Crew will be performing this work.
