Public Transportation Advisory Council meets Nov. 30 in Boise
BOISE - The Public Transportation Advisory Council will meet from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 30, the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) announced. The meeting will be at the ITD Headquarters building, 3311 W. State St., Room 212.
The council is composed of one member from each of Idaho's six districts. Members are appointed by the Idaho Transportation Board and advise ITD on issues and policies regarding public transportation in Idaho.
The meeting will include the following agenda items:
- New programs and challenges posed by federal reauthorization funding for public transportation systems
- An update on the Interagency Working Group projects and the group's work with Idaho Department of Health and Welfare clients
- Intelligent Transportation System Statewide Deployment Program
