Emergency repairs under way on U.S. 30 near Buhl
BUHL – Crews are working to repair a leaking irrigation structure under the eastbound lane of U.S. 30 near the east city limits this afternoon (Wednesday, July 27), the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
Eastbound traffic on U.S. 30 has been shifted to the center turn lane near several business entrances on the east side of Buhl as crews dig to find and repair the ruptured irrigation line. The leak was discovered earlier in the day after a pothole began to form on the south side of the roadway. There are several irrigation structures under or near the roadway that might be causing the damage.
The duration of the repair work and lane restriction is unknown. Drivers are reminded to use caution near the lane closure and to watch for crews and equipment in the area.
