MEDIA ADVISORY: ITD Unveils New 511 Traveler Information Service
WHAT: The Idaho Transportation Department will announce Idaho's new 511 Traveler Information Service, available on the phone by calling 511 or on the Web at 511.idaho.gov.

Major Steve Jones, Idaho State Police
Dick Powell, Idaho Transportation Department District Maintenance Manager
WHEN: Tuesday, Nov. 22, 11 a.m.
WHERE: ITD District 3 Maintenance Yard, White Sand Shed, 8150 Chinden Blvd. (just west of the Chinden/Glenwood intersection)
GETTING THERE: The maintenance yard is north of the ITD district office at 8150 Chinden Blvd. The most direct access to the yard is from Coffey Street. From Chinden, turn north onto Coffey Street, and look for the blue 511 signs at the third entrance. The sand shed is a large tent-like structure. Ample parking is available on site.
