Work at I-84 Garrity eastbound off-ramp scheduled tonight
NAMPA - Paving is planned tonight (Monday, Aug. 22) at the eastbound Interstate 84-Garrity Boulevard off-ramp in Nampa. Work will begin at about 10 p.m. and is expected to finish by 5 a.m. Tuesday.
The off-ramp will remain open, and traffic will be shifted around the construction zone. Work is planned during nighttime hours to minimize impacts to weekday commuters.
Motorists also can expect ongoing, intermittent nighttime lane reductions in the area as crews work to complete the project by early 2012. All I-84 lanes remain open during the day, and work may be weather dependent.
Concrete Placing Company, of Boise, is the contractor on this $22.2 million project.
