Amity Avenue public comment period extended to Sept. 15
BOISE - The Idaho Transportation Department and city of Nampa have extended the public comment period for the Amity Avenue Environmental Assessment to Thursday, Sept. 15.
The environmental assessment describes a project to widen and improve a one-mile stretch of Amity Avenue between Chestnut Street and Kings Corner in Nampa, provides information about how the project will affect the environment.
Public comments will be accepted by e-mail (bowmancm@cityofnampa.us) and by conventional mail. Comments should be mailed to: Nampa City Hall, 411 3rd Street, Nampa, ID 83651. Information about the project is available at: http://www.cityofnampa.us/engineering .
