Work on I-84 East Boise Port of Entry ramps Tuesday and Wednesday will cause slowdown
BOISE - On Tuesday and Wednesday (Sept. 6-7), Idaho Transportation Department crews will repair a section of Interstate 84 near the East Boise Port of Entry.
Crews are repairing cracks in the pavement on both the eastbound and westbound ramps in preparation for new weigh-in-motion sensors to be installed on Sept. 12.
The speed limit will be reduced to 45 mph in the immediate area of the repairs - on the eastbound side on Tuesday and the westbound side on Wednesday.
Crews will work a 9 a.m.-to-4 p.m. schedule to minimize interference with heavy morning and evening commuter travel.
