Expect delays during resurfacing of Idaho 33 between Hatches Corner and the Wyoming state line
RIGBY - Motorists should expect delays during resurfacing of Idaho 33 between Hatches Corner, south of Tetonia, and the Wyoming state line, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
Drivers should expect delays along 21 miles of Idaho 33 that is being paved this month. The project is scheduled for completion Sept. 30.
Travel is reduced to one lane, with flaggers directing traffic through the work zones. The speed limit is reduced to 45 miles per hour.
Commercial vehicles are restricted to 14 feet in width through the work zones.
The transportation department awarded HK Contractors Inc., of Idaho Falls, the $3.9 million contract. HK is coordinating work with other highway construction projects on Idaho 33 in Teton Valley this year.
Motorists should obey all traffic signs and watch for construction workers and equipment.
