Bridge repair work on Idaho 200 Hope Bridge to begin Sept. 21
COEUR D’ALENE – A maintenance project to repair the expansion joints on the Idaho 200 Hope Bridge deck will begin Sept. 21, the Idaho Transportation Department announced. The work is expected to take about three days.
The bridge will be reduced to one lane during daylight hours (7 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and re-opened to two-way traffic overnight. Flaggers will guide traffic through the work zone.
No oversized/overwidth loads will be allowed while the bridge is restricted to legal loads only.
The speed limit will be reduced through the work zone, and motorists can expect minor delays.
