Church to add turn lanes at Idaho 44/Idaho 16 intersection near Star starting Monday
EAGLE - A widening project on Idaho 44 east of the junction with Idaho 16 (on State Street between Star and the west end of Boise) is expected to begin on Monday (Oct. 17) and be completed by Nov. 18, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
On behalf of the Eagle Christian Church, Central Paving Co., of Boise, is adding turn lanes at the intersection to access the church facility. Crews cannot perform any work that impedes traffic during the morning and evening rush hours.
ITD is involved only in a quality-assurance role, as the state highway is under the department's jurisdiction.
