Public hearing set for Idaho 75 (Timmerman to Ketchum)
SHOSHONE - The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has approved the Idaho 75 Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for public review and a public hearing date has been set, the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) announced.

A public hearing will be held Thursday (Jan. 26), 3-8 p.m. at the Blaine County Senior Center, 721 3rd Ave. South in Hailey.

FHWA and ITD propose to improve Idaho 75 from U.S. 20 to Ketchum. 

Copies of the DEIS will be available December 19 at locations in Bellevue, Hailey, Ketchum, Sun Valley, Shoshone and Boise:

- In Bellevue at the City Hall and Library, 115 Pine St.
- In Hailey at City Hall, 115 South Main St. and Blaine County Planning and Zoning, 219 First Avenue South, Suite 208
-In Ketchum at the City Hall, 480 East Ave. North and the Community Library, 415 Spruce Ave. North
- In Sun Valley at the City Hall, 81 Elkhorn Rd.
- In Shoshone at the Idaho Transportation Department, District 4, 216 S. Date St.
- In Boise at the Idaho Transportation Department, 3311 W. State St.  and the Federal Highway Administration, 3050 Lakeharbor Lane, Suite 126                

The DEIS is also available on CD ROM by contacting one of the project managers. Public comments will be accepted through Feb. 24, 2006.
