Helicopter to move boom truck from Mores Creek on Wednesday and Thursday (Dec. 14-15); intermittent closures of Idaho 21 require
BOISE - Crews will close Idaho 21 for up to 30-minutes at a time Wednesday and Thursday (Dec. 14-15) for helicopter recovery of a wrecked boom truck from the bank below Mores Creek High Bridge, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.

The boom truck went over the side of the bridge in November while lowering equipment to workers. The recovery will be overseen by the US Army Corps of Engineers and the transportation department.

Traffic will be stopped one-quarter mile from both ends of the bridge during helicopter operations, out of sight of the recovery. Members of the news media wishing to view the truck removal should contact the transportation department to arrange escort to an overlook.
