Eagle Road north and southbound closed between Fairview and Franklin for gas line repairs
MERIDIAN - Eagle Road is closed between Franklin Road and Fairview Avenue as crews work to contain a gas leak caused when a utility contractor struck a main gas line around noon today (Wednesday, Nov. 30).
Signs at Franklin and Eagle and at Fairview and Eagle direct motorists to find an alternate route. The overhead message sign on I-84 at Locust Grove also is being used to alert motorists.
The closure is expected to last for several hours as crews work to contain the gas.
