Interagency Working Group (IWG) meets Jan. 10 in Boise
BOISE - The Interagency Working Group (IWG) will meet from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 10, the Idaho Transportation Department announced. The meeting will be at the Idaho Commission on Aging, 3380 Americana Terrace in Boise.

IWG's mission is to provide leadership in developing coordinated, responsible and integrated public transportation systems in Idaho.

Agenda items include:

  • Intelligent Transportation Systems Technology and the use of "smart cards" for public transportation
  • Information about an April Coordination Forum for IWG members and statewide invitees
  • Review of the group's communications and work plan
The group's members include representatives from the transportation department, Division of Medicaid, Community Transportation Association of Idaho, Commission on Aging, Department of Health and Welfare, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, Department of Commerce and Labor, Department of Education, Council on Developmental Disabilities, Idaho Head Start Association and the Office of the Governor.
