Guardrail work on Mores Creek High Bridge (Idaho 21) scheduled for Friday (Dec. 23); helicopter work rescheduled for Tuesday (De
BOISE - Helicopter recovery of a wrecked boom truck from the bank below Mores Creek High Bridge (Idaho 21) has been postponed until Tuesday (Dec. 27) due to rain and the upcoming holiday, the Idaho Transportation Department announced. The recovery of the truck began last week.
Repair of the bridge's guardrail will be done Friday (Dec. 23). One lane of Idaho 21 at the bridge will be closed between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. for the work. Flaggers will assist motorists in the work zone. Motorists should expect minor delays.
The boom truck went over the side of the bridge in November while lowering equipment to workers. The recovery is being overseen by the US Army Corps of Engineers and the transportation department.
