REMINDER: New eastbound sign to be installed near Ten Mile
MERIDIAN – One outside lane of eastbound I-84 near the Ten Mile Interchange will close tonight (Monday, March 12) as crews prepare for installation of a new directional and destination sign. Two outside lanes will close overnight Wednesday (March 14) for the sign installation. There are four eastbound lanes in that area.
Both
closures will begin at 9 p.m., and extend through 5 a.m. the following
morning. During the lane closures, traffic still will be able to use
Exit 42 from I-84 to Ten Mile Road.
The sign will be mounted
over the far right lane of traffic. The purpose is to warn travelers
they are driving in an exit-only lane that ends at the Meridian
interchange two miles ahead at Exit 44.
