Repairs will close Idaho 21 parking area near Diversion Dam next week
BOISE - Idaho Transportation Department crews will be repairing broken concrete rail and fixing fence next week at the popular rock-climbing parking area just north of Warm Springs Road on Idaho 21. Crews will also be removing material that has eroded from the hillside into the parking lot and is damaging the existing fence and rail.
The area is at about milepost 8.4, on the west side of the highway across from Diversion Dam.
The parking area will be closed from Monday morning (April 23) through completion of the project, likely by Friday. The parking area will be completely closed during the repai work, with barricades installed.
