State maintenance crews to perform repairs on I-90 Tuesday night
COEUR D’ALENE – State maintenance crews from the Idaho Transportation Department will be paving a section of Interstate 90 near Post Falls Tuesday night (May 1), performing repairs including fixing a significant dip in the roadway surface.
The large dip in the roadway surface has been a persistent problem since a new water pipeline was installed under the highway several years ago.
Only one eastbound lane will be open to traffic at milepost 3.4. The work zone will be set up at 7 p.m. Tuesday, and crews hope to finish work by 2:30 a.m. the next morning.
Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling through the work zone area.
All repair work is weather dependent, and could shift to Wednesday or Thursday nights, if necessary.
