Lane closure planned on westbound U.S. 12 at Lewiston's Memorial Bridge
LEWISTON – One lane of the U.S. 12 Memorial Bridge near 3rd Avenue North in Lewiston will be closed most of Tuesday (July 10) for replacement of an expansion joint.
The westbound left lane of the bridge will be closed from 4:30 a.m. until about 2 p.m. for the repairs.
Traffic inbound to Lewiston from the north will be required to use the right (outside) lane of U.S. 12. Motorists should expect delays and slight congestion where the two lanes are reduced to one. In anticipation of the merge, motorists are encouraged to move to the right lane before approaching the bridge.
ITD crews are responsible for the maintenance project.
