UPDATE: Idaho 55 now reopened near Banks without restrictions
BANKS – A section of Idaho 55 near Banks has reopened without restrictions, the Idaho Transportation Department announced. It had been operating with a pilot car from milepost 79-82 since 8 this morning (Thursday, Aug. 9).
The Banks to Lowman road (old Highway 17) is also open without restrictions.
Drivers are still advised to use caution in that area.
