Westbound on-ramp at Exit 27 in Caldwell will close at midnight Sunday for rehabilitation work
BOISE - The westbound Interstate 84 on-ramp at Exit 27 in Caldwell will close at midnight Sunday, Aug. 19, for work related to the Boise River bridges rehabilitation project, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.

The closure is expected to last from three to four weeks. The eastbound off-ramp remains closed through late August.

Crews have been working on removing the damaged surface on the old bridge deck and replacing it with a new surface.

Message signs have been in place alerting drivers to the closure. Motorists should watch for a reduced speed limit (55 mph) and width restriction (16 feet) through the project area.

The eastbound on-ramp and westbound off-ramp at Exit 27 will remain open.
