Idaho 50 interchange on-ramp to close Wednesday for paving
JEROME – The westbound Interstate 84 on-ramp at the Idaho 50 interchange between Hansen and Eden will be closed temporarily on Wednesday (Aug. 22) for paving the ramp approach, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
ITD employees will pave the area north of the Idaho 50 overpass that intersects with the westbound on-ramp. Traffic will not be able to use the exit until the new asphalt layer cools. The paving replaces asphalt that was deteriorated and cracking.
The paving will close the westbound Exit 182 on-ramp from 9 a.m. to about 1 p.m. on Wednesday. Drivers are asked to find an alternate entrance to I-84. The nearest interchanges are at Valley Road (Exit 188) and U.S. 93 (Exit 173).
