Minor delays expected on 2nd Avenue in Twin Falls for pavement repair on Thursday (Feb. 23)
SHOSHONE - East and West 2nd Avenue (U.S. 30) in Twin Falls will have traffic restrictions for pavement repair work on Thursday (Feb. 23), the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
Motorists should expect minor traffic delays on East and West 2nd Avenue (U.S. 30) from Kimberly Road to Addison Avenue, as traffic is intermittently reduced from three lanes to two. Work hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The speed limit will not be reduced.
This preliminary repair work is part of a future rehabilitation project, scheduled for the 2006 construction season, which will replace deteriorated and cracked pavement, and provide a smoother driving surface.
