I-84, Exit 27 ramps in Caldwell to close Thursday and Friday
CALDWELL - The eastbound off-ramp from Interstate 84 at Exit 27 in Caldwell will close Thursday (Sept. 27), and the westbound on-ramp will close Friday (Sept. 28) for replacement of finger joints between concrete slabs, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
The work will take place between 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day.
As part of the project, crews are repairing the Exit 13 overpass at Black Canyon. Cattleguard wings and pavement markings will be placed on Friday.
Crews already completed all work except pavement markings on the Centennial Way and Boise River crossings. The Centennial Way bridge sidewalk also will be water-sealed.
Concrete Placing Co. Inc., of Boise, is the contractor on the $1.42 million project, which is expected to finish by late October.
