Free-flowing right from northbound Linder onto Idaho 44 will intermittently close through end of year
EAGLE – The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) is closing the free-flowing right-turn lane from northbound Linder Road
onto Idaho 44 (State Street) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. intermittently
through the end of December. The closures are needed to complete widening on the south side of Idaho 44.

Drivers will still be able to make turning movements at the intersection of Idaho 44 and Linder Road. Access to businesses and residences around the intersection will remain open.
The speed limit has been reduced to 45 mph in the construction zone. At least one lane in each direction will remain open throughout construction, but lanes may be restricted at night. Construction work will continue through the holidays, as weather permits.
As part of this project, crews will replace this free-running right-turn from northbound Linder Road onto Idaho 44 with a right-turn bay. When modifications are complete, drivers will pull up to the intersection and make a right turn when the signal allows, or when it is safe.
Safety is ITD’s number one priority. Please remember to slow down and plan ahead during construction. Also please pay attention in construction zones and be aware of the safety of construction workers.
Central Paving Inc. and Horrocks Engineers are the design-build team for this $9.2 million project.
Construction is expected to be completed by fall 2013.
